UKTCF currently supports around 400 such children, in the most practical ways it can. For extended families to take these children in, they need information about the disease, education about living with HIV and, most importantly, some material support to allow them to keep the children in their home and attending school.

You can see that as the bulk of the children are still in their mid-school years, we will face an increase in the funding support we need to provide over the next few years. This will subsequently diminish, as more complete their education and can earn a living.
